somnio is a digital health app designed to support sleep disorders (insomnia). It is intended for adults who want to improve their sleep in the long term, for example in cases of persistent sleep onset insomnia or sleep maintenance insomnia or non-restorative sleep.
The app was specifically developed for adults with sleep problems and guides you through a structured therapeutic program. You are guided through a total of 16 consecutive modules by the digital sleep expert Albert. In these modules, you receive evidence-based information about your individual sleep, learn about the relationship between thoughts, behavioral patterns, and sleep, in addition to working with proven effective exercises and established techniques.
All content is evidence-based and oriented towards the methods of cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), the recommended first-line treatment for sleep disorders. The goal is to better understand the causes of your own sleep problems and to work specifically toward a long-term improvement of your sleep.
