How can I erase my account with somnio?

In this article, you will learn how you can erase your somnio account yourself and what happens to your data in the process.

You have the option to erase your somnio account yourself at any time. To do this, log in to your somnio account, go to the "Profile" menu item, and scroll all the way down. There, in the "Data protection" section, you will find the option to revoke your consent to data processing or erase your account directly. After confirmation, your account including all stored data will be erased irrevocably.

Note: If you do not erase your account yourself, it will initially remain for another 30 days after the end of the 90-day license. During this period, you will still have access to your data, for example to download or review it. Before the scheduled erasure, you will receive an email reminder 14 and 7 days in advance respectively. In these emails, you also have the option to extend the erasure period one time by another 30 days if you need longer access to your data. 

If you do not extend the erasure period, your account will be automatically and permanently erased 30 days after the license expires.
