What happens to my data after my license expires?

In this article, you will learn what happens to your data after your somnio license expires and how long you will still have access to it.

After your somnio license expires, you can no longer actively use the digital sleep training. However, your personal data will remain stored in your account for a limited period of time. This means that after your license expires, you still have the opportunity to access your data and save it for yourself if needed.

Your data will remain available to you for 30 days after the license expires. During this period, you can view your account and download personal training data, for example your medical report or your sleep journal entries. The training itself can no longer be used during this phase.

After these 30 days have expired, your somnio account will be completely and permanently deleted, including all data stored in it. To inform you in good time, you will receive two reminder emails before the scheduled deletion, one 14 days and another 7 days before the deletion date. In these emails, you will also find a note on how you can extend the deletion period by another 30 days if you need longer access to your data.

If you would like to keep your data, you should download it within the available period. After the final erasure, access to or recovery of the data is no longer possible. You can find further information about downloading your personal training data in the article "How can you download your personal training data?".
