In this article, you will learn what you can do if graphics or animations in somnio are not displayed correctly.
If graphics, charts, or animations in somnio are not displayed correctly, this can have various causes. The following steps can often solve the problem.
Minimum technical requirements: First, please make sure that your device meets the minimum technical requirements for using somnio. You can find a current overview of supported devices, operating systems, and browsers on our website at https://somn.io/en/devices/.
Updates: Also check whether updates are available for your operating system, the somnio app, or your browser, and install them if necessary. Outdated versions can cause content not to be displayed or loaded correctly.
Update by "hard refresh": In some cases, it can also help to manually reload somnio once. To do this, go to the blue-highlighted support field in the left menu bar and select the question "Are you experiencing any technical difficulties? Click here!". Then tap "Reload app" to trigger the update.
Dark mode: somnio currently does not support Dark Mode. However, some Android devices force dark mode for apps across the entire system. This can lead to display errors, for example white text on a white background in questionnaires or incorrectly displayed animations. If you disable Dark Mode on your device, all content should become visible normally again. We are working on a long-term technical solution, but this will still take some time.
Reinstallation: If the problem persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app once. To do this, download the app again from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Do not worry: Your data and your training progress will be preserved. After reinstalling, you can log in as usual with your email address and your password or passkey.
