How can error reports be retrieved?
In this article, you will learn how to create an error report through the browser console and forward it to somnio support.
If somnio still does not work as expected after several attempts, you can help us analyze the problem more precisely. To do this, you can provide us with an error report through your browser’s console output. This information gives our IT team important clues so that they can better understand the cause of the problem.
Here is how to proceed:
Open somnio on a computer or laptop in the internet browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, or Safari) at https://us.somn.io/session/login and log in with your access data. You should then land on the home page of your training.
Before you open the module or section that is not working properly for you, please open the console output:
- To do this, click the menu in the top right corner of the browser (usually three dots).
- Select "More tools" and then "Developer tools".
- In the developer tools, switch to the "Console" tab.
- Leave this window open.
Now switch in your somnio account to the module or section that is not working correctly and start it as usual. Please note the approximate time at which you started the module and observe what happens. During this time, the console records technical processes in the background. Please take screenshots of the console output, especially at the point where problems occur or error messages appear.
Send us the screenshots by email to support@somn.io. Also helpful are:
- the name of the module or section,
- the time at which the problem occurred,
- a short description of what did not work.
Thank you very much for your support! With this information, our IT team can review the error in a targeted way and resolve it faster.
