For whom somnio is suitable?

somnio is designed for individuals suffering from insomnia. Insomnia is characterized by three main symptoms: difficulty falling asleep, difficulty staying asleep, and early morning awakenings. However, insomnia is only diagnosed when one or more of these symptoms occur at least three times a week for at least one month and the affected person feels limited in his or her ability to perform or does not feel sufficiently restored.

Diagnostic criteria for insomnia

Insufficient sleep duration and quality
Difficulty falling asleep, difficulty sleeping through the night, and/or early morning awakenings.
Complaints exist at least three times a week and for at least one month.
Sleep disorders cause significant disstress and/or have a detrimental effect on social and occupational functioning.
